CVE-2025-11759, 5 Dec 2025
The Backup, Restore and Migrate your sites with XCloner plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery in all versions up to, and including, 4.8.2. This is due to missing or incorrect nonce validation on the Xcloner_Remote_Storage:save() function. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to add or modify an FTP backup configuration via a forged request granted they can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link. Successful exploitation allows an attacker to set an attacker-controlled FTP site for backup storage and exfiltrate potentially sensitive site data. CVE record
CVE-2024-6559, 16 Jul 2024
The Backup, Restore and Migrate WordPress Sites With the XCloner Plugin plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Full Path Disclosure in all versions up to, and including, 4.7.3. This is due the plugin utilizing sabre without preventing direct access to the files. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to retrieve the full path of the web application, which can be used to aid other attacks. The information displayed is not useful on its own, and requires another vulnerability to be present for damage to an affected website. CVE record
