Terms of service

Last updated 10 July 2026. Written in plain English on purpose: if anything here is unclear, ask us before you buy.

1. Who you are contracting with

All services are provided by Box 4 Digital Group Ltd (company number 11032071), trading as Web Support Services, of Suite 114 Business First, Davyfield Road, Blackburn, Lancashire BB1 2QY ("we", "us"). These terms apply to every plan and one-off service bought through this website or agreed by email. Our services are supplied to businesses; statutory consumer rights are unaffected where they apply.

2. Plans and billing

  • Prices exclude VAT, which is added at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe.
  • Monthly plans are rolling and renew automatically each month until cancelled. Annual plans renew yearly.
  • You can cancel a monthly plan at any time via your Stripe billing portal or by emailing us; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. No refunds are due for a partly used month.
  • Annual plans run to the end of the paid year and are not refunded pro rata, except within 14 days of first purchase, when we refund in full if no substantial work has begun.
  • If a payment fails we retry and contact you. Services may be paused after 14 days of non-payment.

3. What plans include

Each plan includes the features listed on the pricing page at the time of purchase. Included development time does not roll over between months. Work beyond your plan is always quoted as a fixed price and agreed in writing before it starts: we do not send surprise invoices.

4. One-off services and guarantees

  • Emergency Fix (£149): covers diagnosis and repair of one incident. If we cannot fix the incident, we refund the fee in full ("no fix, no fee").
  • Website Speed Fix (£349): if we cannot measurably improve your Lighthouse mobile performance score, we refund the fee in full.
  • Hacked Site Rescue (£249): includes a 30-day re-infection guarantee: if the same infection returns within 30 days we clean it again free.
  • Guarantees require that you do not reverse our work, withhold access, or make conflicting changes during the guarantee period.

5. Your responsibilities

  • Provide accurate access details and tell us about anything unusual in your setup.
  • Maintain your own accounts (domain, hosting) unless we have agreed to manage them.
  • Ensure content you ask us to publish is lawful and yours to use.

6. Access and security

Credentials you share are stored encrypted and used only to deliver your services. We recommend creating dedicated accounts for us where platforms allow. You may revoke our access at any time; some services cannot continue without it.

7. Liability

We carry out all work with reasonable skill and care, and we take a backup before significant changes. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event. We are not liable for indirect losses (lost profits, lost data caused by third parties, or downtime caused by your hosting provider, plugins we did not install, or force majeure). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

8. Compliance services

Accessibility, GDPR and email deliverability work is delivered to recognised standards (such as WCAG 2.2 AA) with evidence. It does not constitute legal advice, and final legal responsibility for your website remains with you.

9. Ending the relationship

You can leave whenever you like. On request we hand over documentation, backups and credentials in an orderly way, without exit fees. We may end a plan with 30 days notice, or immediately in cases of abuse or non-payment.

10. General

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, with exclusive jurisdiction of its courts. If part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. The latest version always lives at this address.
