What is the difference between an SEO audit and a website audit?

A website audit is broader: it can cover security, accessibility, speed and code quality as well as search. An SEO audit focuses on why you do or do not rank. Ours overlaps deliberately, because page experience, speed and indexable code are ranking inputs, so you get much of a website audit inside it.

Are free automated SEO audits any good?
