No mystery, just method

Handing your website to strangers is a trust exercise. Here is exactly what happens after you sign up, so nothing about working with us is a surprise.

Day one

Onboarding: the first 24 hours

Secure handover

You get a welcome email minutes after checkout with a secure form for access details. We verify every account is in your name and flag anything that is not: you would be amazed how many businesses do not own their own domain.

Backup, then baseline

Before we change anything we take a complete off-server backup. Then a health audit: pending updates, security posture, speed scores, accessibility basics, broken links. You see the honest starting point.

Monitoring goes live

Uptime checks every minute, malware scanning, SSL and domain expiry watches. From this point on, if something goes wrong with your site, our phones light up, usually before yours do.

Every month after

The rhythm of a well-kept website

Boring on purpose: drama is for other people's websites

Quiet weekly work, visible monthly proof

Weekly: updates applied and visually verified, backups checked, security scans reviewed. Monthly: a deeper pass over speed, accessibility and search health, plus your plain-English report. Quarterly on higher plans: a strategy look at what your site should do next. The work is deliberately boring, the results are not.

Incidents become anecdotes, not disasters

When something breaks anyway

No amount of maintenance makes the internet perfect: hosts fail, plugins clash, hackers try. What changes with us is the experience: monitoring catches it fast, an engineer who already knows your site starts work immediately, you get told what happened in plain English, and the root cause gets fixed so it does not repeat. Incidents become anecdotes instead of disasters.

  • Two hour target for critical incidents
  • Same-day response on Professional and Premium
  • Root cause fixed, not just symptoms

Frequently asked questions

How do I hand over my website safely?

After you sign up we send a secure onboarding form for credentials. We confirm every account is owned by you (not by an old developer), take a full backup before touching anything, and document the setup. You get a copy of that documentation: it is your site, you should understand it.

Do I have to move my hosting to you?

No. Most clients keep their existing hosting and we manage it where it is. If your hosting is genuinely holding you back we will say so, with numbers, and moving is always your call.

How do I request work once I am a client?

Email, phone, or the client helpdesk for tracked requests. Small jobs are usually turned around within days and covered by plan development time where your plan includes it.

What counts as an emergency?

Your site is down, visibly broken, hacked or losing you money. Emergencies jump every queue: Professional and Premium plans get same-day response, and our target for critical incidents is two working hours.

What is in the monthly report?

Uptime, updates applied, backups taken and verified, security scan results, speed scores, issues fixed and recommendations. It is written for a business owner, not a developer, and it exists so you never have to wonder whether the plan is doing anything.

Ready to see it in practice?

Pick a plan and your site could be monitored, backed up and baselined by this time tomorrow.
