Website accessibility and WCAG services

Accessibility work can start with diagnosis, remediation or ongoing monitoring depending on the state of the site. Our Accessibility Audit assesses a website against WCAG 2.2 AA and combines automated scanning with manual keyboard and screen reader testing. W3C published WCAG 2.2 as a Recommendation in October 2023.

Where monitoring is needed after an audit or remediation project, Accessibility Monitoring costs £69 a month or £690 a year and includes monthly WCAG 2.2 AA scans of key pages plus human review of flagged issues. Website speed, search visibility and technical performance

For ongoing performance work, the Speed Retainer costs £89 a month or £890 a year and includes monthly Lighthouse and CrUX review, image and script optimisation, plugin bloat control and performance reporting. Hosting, security and urgent website fixes

You do not have to change hosting companies to get technical support. Hosting Support costs £39 a month or £390 a year and covers areas including SSL, DNS, server-level troubleshooting, email setup and migration assistance while you remain with your existing host. Managed WordPress Hosting is £69 a month or £690 a year for businesses that want hosting and WordPress management together.

For monitoring alone, Uptime and Security Monitoring costs £29 a month or £290 a year, with one-minute uptime checks, malware and blacklist monitoring, SSL expiry monitoring and incident investigation.

Free website checks

For an initial technical snapshot, our free tools can check a page before you decide whether further work is needed. The accessibility checker runs an axe-core WCAG scan, the page speed checker runs a Google Lighthouse mobile test, and the SEO checker reviews common search-related page issues.

Automated checks are useful for finding signals and obvious faults, but they are not substitutes for every kind of manual testing. Accessibility is a clear example: WCAG evaluation can require human judgement and interaction testing that an automated scanner cannot fully reproduce.
