Website management: one team runs it all
Content changes, updates, hosting, renewals, security, reporting: our website management service makes your whole site one team's responsibility, so it stops being anyone's job at your company.
Websites fail when they are nobody's job
From "whoever has time" to one accountable team
Right now, who owns your website?
In most small firms the honest answer is "whoever has time". The developer finished the build years ago, the hosting renews on a card nobody checks, updates happen when someone remembers, and content changes queue up for months. Nothing is broken exactly, but the site slowly rots: out-of-date prices, expiring domains, slowing pages, security patches missed. Website management fixes the root cause by making one accountable team responsible for all of it.
- One supplier accountable for content, hosting and technical health
- Requests turned around in days, not queued for months
- Renewals tracked so the domain and SSL never lapse unnoticed
Managed means measured, reported, improved
Proactive by default, with proof every month
Management is not just reacting to requests. Underneath sits the full website maintenance discipline: weekly updates, daily off-server backups, security scanning and minute-by-minute uptime monitoring. On top, we look for improvements: pages slowing down, rankings slipping, forms underperforming, and raise them before you ask. Every month you get a plain-English report of what was done, what it found and what we recommend next.
- Full maintenance and security routine included
- Speed and Core Web Vitals watched, with fixes proposed proactively
- A monthly report your accountant would approve of: work done, evidence attached
Everything a webmaster would do, without the salary
Website management services should cover the whole asset, not just the software. Here is the full remit we take responsibility for.
Content and page updates
New pages, price and product changes, images, banners and copy edits, done within your included development time each month.
Hosting, run properly
We manage your existing host, or move you onto our fast UK managed WordPress hosting. Server updates, SSL and DNS handled either way.
Learn moreUpdates and backups
Weekly software updates with checks afterwards, daily off-server backups test-restored regularly. The routine that prevents rescues.
Security and monitoring
Hardening, malware scanning and 24/7 uptime monitoring. Incidents get investigated and fixed as part of the plan, not invoiced as extras.
Domains, SSL and renewals
Every renewal tracked and managed in your name. No more discovering the domain expired because an old colleague's inbox got the reminder.
Reporting and improvement
Monthly plain-English reporting on uptime, speed and work done, plus recommendations: what to improve next and what it would cost.
Handing your website over takes three steps
Audit and take inventory
We document everything: hosting, domain, DNS, email, plugins, licences and renewal dates, secure every account in your name, and take a full backup.
Stabilise and set the routine
Overdue updates applied safely, security hardened, monitoring switched on, renewals diarised. The site reaches a known-good baseline, usually within the first week.
Run, report, improve
From then on you send requests to one address, changes happen in days, and a monthly report shows the work, the uptime and what we suggest next.

Frequently asked questions
What does a website management service actually do?
It makes your website someone's job. We handle content updates, software updates, backups, security, hosting, domain and SSL renewals, monitoring and improvement work, then report monthly on all of it. You send requests to one address; we plan, do and evidence the work. Think outsourced webmaster rather than an occasional fix-it service.
How much does website management cost in the UK?
A part-time in-house webmaster costs well over £1,000 a month. Full website management services in the UK typically run £100 to £500 a month. Our managed plans are £119 or £249 a month excluding VAT, with managed WordPress hosting available at £69, and everything included is listed openly on our pricing page.
What is the difference between website management and website maintenance?
Maintenance keeps the machinery healthy: updates, backups, security, monitoring. Management covers the whole site as a business asset: the maintenance, plus content changes, hosting and renewals, performance and SEO improvements, and a single accountable team reporting to you monthly. Maintenance is a subset of management.
Can you handle content updates as well as the technical work?
Yes. New pages, price changes, staff photos, seasonal offers, blog posts you supply: send them over and they get done within your plan's included time, with bigger jobs quoted before we start. Most requests are turned around within a couple of business days.
Do you manage domains, hosting and SSL renewals too?
Yes, that is often the biggest relief for owners. We track and manage domain renewals, hosting, SSL certificates and DNS, so nothing expires unnoticed and takes the site or email down with it. You keep ownership of every account; we hold managed access and do the work.
Will I still own my website if you manage it?
Completely. Domain, hosting, site and content all stay in your name, and part of our onboarding is fixing that if it is not currently true. No lock-in either: plans are monthly rolling, and if you ever leave, you get a clean handover with credentials and documentation.
