CVE-2026-92536, 3 Oct 2026
The Paid Membership Plugin, Ecommerce, User Registration Form, Login Form, User Profile & Restrict Content - ProfilePress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 4.17.4 via the get_user_profile_structure. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to extract other users' email addresses, login names, and registration dates via the Member Directory's per-row user rebinding when attacker-controlled base64 payloads in the [pp-custom-html] shortcode invoke [profile-email], [profile-username], and [profile-date-registered]. When the WordPress users_can_register option is enabled, unauthenticated attackers can also exploit this vulnerability by supplying the split shortcode fragments through the plugin's own registration handler, which processes the reg_nickname and reg_bio fields without a nonce requirement. CVE record
CVE-2026-92551, 3 Oct 2026
The Paid Membership Plugin, Ecommerce, User Registration Form, Login Form, User Profile & Restrict Content - ProfilePress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting via ppress_billing_address Filename Parameter in all versions up to, and including, 4.17.4 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a link. The vulnerability is exploitable via any page hosting the ProfilePress Tabbed Widget by supplying a malicious filename for the ppress_billing_address file upload field in a crafted POST request. CVE record
CVE-2026-85658, 19 Sep 2026
The Paid Membership Plugin, Ecommerce, User Registration Form, Login Form, User Profile & Restrict Content - ProfilePress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary shortcode execution in all versions up to, and including, 4.17.2 This is due to the software allowing users to execute an action that does not properly validate a value before running do_shortcode. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to execute arbitrary shortcodes. CVE record
CVE-2026-66047, 31 Aug 2026
ProfilePress (wp-user-avatar) WordPress plugin before 4.17.2 contains an unauthenticated remote code execution vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to install and activate arbitrary plugins by brute-forcing a weak 32-bit connect token via the ppress_connect_process AJAX handler. Attackers can supply a caller-controlled URL through the file request parameter to trigger silent plugin installation and activation, achieving PHP code execution as the web-server user. CVE record
CVE-2026-18385, 16 Aug 2026
The The Paid Membership Plugin, Ecommerce, User Registration Form, Login Form, User Profile & Restrict Content - ProfilePress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary shortcode execution in all versions up to, and including, 4.16.19. This is due to the software allowing users to execute an action that does not properly validate a value before running do_shortcode. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to execute arbitrary shortcodes. The partial mitigation introduced via strip_shortcodes() on [profile-first-name] and [profile-last-name] can be bypassed through the [profile-display-name format="first_last_names"] render path, the [profile-bio] render path (which re-fetches the raw description meta), and the double-bracket escape sequence [[tag]], all of which allow attacker-controlled shortcode text to reach the outer do_shortcode() call. CVE record
CVE-2026-12497, 24 Jul 2026
The Paid Membership Plugin, Ecommerce, User Registration Form, Login Form, User Profile & Restrict Content WordPress plugin before 4.16.18 does not consistently enforce the role restriction configured on its front-end registration role-selection field. The set of roles offered to the visitor and the set of roles the registration handler accepts are derived by two different parsers, and for some valid ways of configuring the offered roles the handler ignores the restriction and falls back to accepting any non-administrator role. Combined with the absence of a nonce on the public registration handler, this allows an unauthenticated visitor to register an account with a higher role, such as Editor or Author, than the form was configured to offer. CVE record
CVE-2026-13352, 17 Jul 2026
The Paid Membership Plugin, Ecommerce, User Registration Form, Login Form, User Profile & Restrict Content - ProfilePress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary File Upload in all versions up to, and including, 4.16.18 via the allowed_mime_types function. This is due to the unconditional registration of an upload_mimes filter that adds executable file extensions (.exe, .apk, .msi) to the global WordPress MIME allowlist, without scoping the expansion to digital-product upload contexts. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with author-level access and above, to upload files that may be executable, which makes remote code execution possible. This filter is registered globally on every request regardless of whether the digital products feature is configured or in use, meaning the expanded MIME allowlist affects all WordPress upload contexts site-wide. CVE record
CVE-2026-10820, 27 Jun 2026
The Paid Membership Plugin, Ecommerce, User Registration Form, Login Form, User Profile & Restrict Content WordPress plugin before 4.16.17 does not verify that the user performing a subscription action owns the targeted subscription, allowing any authenticated user (Subscriber+) to cancel other users' active subscriptions via an Insecure Direct Object Reference. CVE record
CVE-2026-4949, 15 Apr 2026
The Paid Membership Plugin, Ecommerce, User Registration Form, Login Form, User Profile & Restrict Content - ProfilePress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Missing Authorization in all versions up to, and including, 4.16.12. This is due to the 'process_checkout' function not properly enforcing the plan active status check when a 'change_plan_sub_id' parameter is provided. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to subscribe to inactive membership plans by supplying an arbitrary 'change_plan_sub_id' value in the checkout request. CVE record
CVE-2026-3309, 4 Apr 2026
The Paid Membership Plugin, Ecommerce, User Registration Form, Login Form, User Profile & Restrict Content - ProfilePress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary shortcode execution in all versions up to, and including, 4.16.11. This is due to the plugin allowing user-supplied billing field values from the checkout process to be interpolated into shortcode template strings that are subsequently processed without proper sanitization of shortcode syntax. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to execute arbitrary shortcodes by submitting crafted billing field values during the checkout process. CVE record
CVE-2026-3445, 4 Apr 2026
The Paid Membership Plugin, Ecommerce, User Registration Form, Login Form, User Profile & Restrict Content - ProfilePress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized membership payment bypass in all versions up to, and including, 4.16.11. This is due to a missing ownership verification on the `change_plan_sub_id` parameter in the `process_checkout()` function. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber level access and above, to reference another user's active subscription during checkout to manipulate proration calculations, allowing them to obtain paid lifetime membership plans without payment via the `ppress_process_checkout` AJAX action. CVE record
CVE-2026-3453, 11 Mar 2026
The ProfilePress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Insecure Direct Object Reference in all versions up to, and including, 4.16.11. This is due to missing ownership validation on the change_plan_sub_id parameter in the process_checkout() function. The ppress_process_checkout AJAX handler accepts a user-controlled subscription ID intended for plan upgrades, loads the subscription record, and cancels/expires it without verifying the subscription belongs to the requesting user. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to cancel and expire any other user's active subscription via the change_plan_sub_id parameter during checkout, causing immediate loss of paid access for victims. CVE record
CVE-2025-13642, 9 Dec 2025
The Paid Membership Plugin, Ecommerce, User Registration Form, Login Form, User Profile & Restrict Content - ProfilePress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary shortcode execution in all versions up to, and including, 4.16.7 due to insufficient input sanitization on the `type` parameter in the form preview functionality. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to execute arbitrary shortcodes via the `pp_preview_form` endpoint. CVE record
CVE-2025-8878, 16 Aug 2025
The The Paid Membership Plugin, Ecommerce, User Registration Form, Login Form, User Profile & Restrict Content - ProfilePress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary shortcode execution in all versions up to, and including, 4.16.4. This is due to the software allowing users to execute an action that does not properly validate a value before running do_shortcode. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to execute arbitrary shortcodes. CVE record
