- CVE-2026-92969, 22 Sep 2026
- The HUSKY - Products Filter for WooCommerce Professional plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Local File Inclusion in all versions up to, and including, 1.4.4 via the 'shortcode' parameter parameter. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to include and execute arbitrary .php files on the server, allowing the execution of any PHP code in those files. This can be used to bypass access controls, obtain sensitive data, or achieve code execution in cases where .php file types can be uploaded and included. This vulnerability is exploitable by unauthenticated users because the only access control is a nonce check against woof_front_nonce, which is publicly emitted into inline JavaScript on every front-end page and is therefore obtainable by any site visitor without authentication. - CVE-2026-18562, 11 Sep 2026
- The HUSKY - Products Filter Professional for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting via SEO-friendly permalink filter URL segments in versions up to, and including, 1.4.3. This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping in the wp_load_js() function, which reads filter values from the URL path via the url_request extension's parse_url_query() and embeds them into an inline JavaScript string using json_encode() without escaping single quotes. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a specially crafted link. CVE record
- CVE-2026-15244, 1 Aug 2026
- The HUSKY WordPress plugin before 1.4.1 does not sanitize a stored setting value against directory traversal before concatenating it into a file inclusion path, allowing users with the shop manager capability to cause the inclusion and execution of arbitrary local files, which is then triggered on every front-end request including for unauthenticated visitors. CVE record
- CVE-2025-13110, 18 Dec 2025
- The HUSKY - Products Filter Professional for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Insecure Direct Object Reference in all versions up to, and including, 1.3.7.3 via the "woof_add_subscr" function due to missing validation on a user controlled key. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber level access and above, to create product messenger subscriptions on behalf of arbitrary users, including administrators. CVE record
- CVE-2025-11735, 28 Oct 2025
- The HUSKY - Products Filter Professional for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to blind SQL Injection via the `phrase` parameter in all versions up to, and including, 1.3.7.1 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database. CVE record
- CVE-2025-1661, 11 Mar 2025
- The HUSKY - Products Filter Professional for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Local File Inclusion in all versions up to, and including, 1.3.6.5 via the 'template' parameter of the woof_text_search AJAX action. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to include and execute arbitrary files on the server, allowing the execution of any PHP code in those files. This can be used to bypass access controls, obtain sensitive data, or achieve code execution in cases where images and other “safe” file types can be uploaded and included. CVE record
- CVE-2024-11400, 19 Nov 2024
- The HUSKY - Products Filter Professional for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting via the really_curr_tax parameter in all versions up to, and including, 1.3.6.3 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a link. CVE record
- CVE-2024-6457, 16 Jul 2024
- The HUSKY - Products Filter Professional for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to time-based SQL Injection via the ‘woof_author’ parameter in all versions up to, and including, 1.3.6 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database. CVE record
- CVE-2024-5039, 29 May 2024
- The HUSKY - Products Filter Professional for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the plugin's shortcode(s) in all versions up to, and including, 1.3.5.3 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user supplied attributes. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. CVE record
- CVE-2024-1796, 15 Mar 2024
- The HUSKY - Products Filter for WooCommerce Professional plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the plugin's 'woof' shortcode in all versions up to, and including, 1.3.5.1 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user supplied attributes such as 'swoof_slug'. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers with contributor-level and above permissions to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. CVE record
- CVE-2024-1795, 15 Mar 2024
- The HUSKY - Products Filter for WooCommerce Professional plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to SQL Injection via the 'name' parameter in the woof shortcode in all versions up to, and including, 1.3.5.2 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database. CVE record
- CVE-2022-4489, 6 Feb 2023
- The HUSKY WordPress plugin before 1.3.2 unserializes user input provided via the settings, which could allow high privilege users such as admin to perform PHP Object Injection when a suitable gadget is present. CVE record
- CVE-2021-25085, 1 Feb 2022
- The WOOF WordPress plugin before 1.2.6.3 does not sanitise and escape the woof_redraw_elements before outputing back in an admin page, leading to a Reflected Cross-Site Scripting CVE record
- CVE-2018-8710, 14 Mar 2018
- A remote code execution issue was discovered in the WooCommerce Products Filter (aka WOOF) plugin before 2.2.0 for WordPress, as demonstrated by the shortcode parameter in a woof_redraw_woof action. The plugin implemented a page redraw AJAX function accessible to anyone without any authentication. WordPress shortcode markup in the "shortcode" parameters would be evaluated. Normally unauthenticated users can't evaluate shortcodes as they are often sensitive. CVE record
- CVE-2018-8711, 14 Mar 2018
- A local file inclusion issue was discovered in the WooCommerce Products Filter (aka WOOF) plugin before 2.2.0 for WordPress, as demonstrated by the shortcode parameter in a woof_redraw_woof action. The vulnerability is due to the lack of args/input validation on render_html before allowing it to be called by extract(), a PHP built-in function. Because of this, the supplied args/input can be used to overwrite the $pagepath variable, which then could lead to a local file inclusion attack. CVE record
What to do if you run HUSKY
If you run HUSKY, open WordPress and check the installed version in Plugins. Compare it with the affected versions in the vulnerability record. If a fixed version is available, take a current backup and update to that version or the latest supported release.
If no fixed version exists, consider disabling and removing the plugin or replacing it with a maintained alternative. After dealing with the affected software, check administrator users, unexpected file changes, redirects, unfamiliar pages and security logs for signs that the site may already have been altered.
