- CVE-2026-2582, 14 Apr 2026
- The The Germanized for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary shortcode execution via 'account_holder' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 3.20.5. This is due to the software allowing users to execute an action that does not properly validate a value before running do_shortcode. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to execute arbitrary shortcodes. CVE record
What to do if you run Germanized for WooCommerce
If you run Germanized for WooCommerce, open WordPress and check the installed version in Plugins. Compare it with the affected versions in the vulnerability record. If a fixed version is available, take a current backup and update to that version or the latest supported release.

After dealing with the affected software, check administrator users, unexpected file changes, redirects, unfamiliar pages and security logs for signs that the site may already have been altered.
