CVE-2026-12585, 16 Jul 2026
The Abandoned Cart Lite for WooCommerce WordPress plugin before 6.8.2 does not protect the integrity of its cart-recovery tokens or bind them to the requesting account, allowing unauthenticated attackers to forge a recovery link that logs them in as another user when the automatic-login option is enabled. CVE-2021-4414, 12 Jul 2023
The Abandoned Cart Lite for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery in versions up to, and including, 5.8.5. This is due to missing or incorrect nonce validation on the wcal_preview_emails() function. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to generate email preview templates via a forged request granted they can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link. CVE record
CVE-2023-2986, 8 Jun 2023
The Abandoned Cart Lite for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authentication bypass in versions up to, and including, 5.14.2. This is due to insufficient encryption on the user being supplied during the abandoned cart link decode through the plugin. This allows unauthenticated attackers to log in as users who have abandoned the cart, who are typically customers. Further security hardening was introduced in version 5.15.1 that ensures sites are no longer vulnerable through historical check-out links, and additional hardening was introduced in version 5.15.2 that ensured null key values wouldn't permit the authentication bypass. What to do if you run Abandoned Cart Lite for WooCommerce

If you run Abandoned Cart Lite for WooCommerce, open WordPress and check the installed version in Plugins. Compare it with the affected versions in the vulnerability record. If a fixed version is available, take a current backup and update to that version or the latest supported release.

If no fixed version exists, consider disabling and removing the plugin or replacing it with a maintained alternative. After dealing with the affected software, check administrator users, unexpected file changes, redirects, unfamiliar pages and security logs for signs that the site may already have been altered.
