CVE-2026-100148, 3 Oct 2026
The Rich Showcase for Google Reviews plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'reviews[].text' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 7.1.3 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The payload is delivered entirely through a Google review posted for the connected business and requires no WordPress account; the plugin's default daily cron auto-imports the malicious review text, and execution triggers for every visitor on DOMContentLoaded without any further user interaction. CVE-2026-15739, 24 Jul 2026
The Rich Showcase for Google Reviews plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via 'pagination' Shortcode Attribute in all versions up to, and including, 6.9.9 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. CVE-2025-12499, 6 Dec 2025
The Rich Shortcodes for Google Reviews plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the contents of a Google Review in all versions up to, and including, 6.8 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. NOTE: This vulnerability was partially patched in version 6.6.2. CVE record

If you run Rich Showcase for Google Reviews, open WordPress and check the installed version in Plugins. Compare it with the affected versions in the vulnerability record. If a fixed version is available, take a current backup and update to that version or the latest supported release.
