- CVE-2026-11898, 11 Jul 2026
- The White Label CMS plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via admin settings in all versions up to, and including, 2.7.12 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with administrator-level permissions and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This only affects multi-site installations and installations where unfiltered_html has been disabled. CVE record
- CVE-2024-4280, 14 May 2024
- The White Label CMS plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized modification of data due to a missing capability check on the reset_plugin function in all versions up to, and including, 2.7.3. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to reset plugin settings. CVE record
- CVE-2022-4302, 2 Jan 2023
- The White Label CMS WordPress plugin before 2.5 unserializes user input provided via the settings, which could allow high-privilege users such as admin to perform PHP Object Injection when a suitable gadget is present. CVE record
- CVE-2022-0422, 7 Mar 2022
- The White Label CMS WordPress plugin before 2.2.9 does not sanitise and validate the wlcms[_login_custom_js] parameter before outputting it back in the response while previewing, leading to a Reflected Cross-Site Scripting issue CVE record
- CVE-2012-5387, 24 Oct 2012
- Cross-site request forgery (CSRF) vulnerability in wlcms-plugin.php in the White Label CMS plugin before 1.5.1 for WordPress allows remote attackers to hijack the authentication of administrators for requests that modify the developer name via the wlcms_o_developer_name parameter in a save action to wp-admin/admin.php, as demonstrated by a developer name containing XSS sequences. CVE record
- CVE-2012-5388, 24 Oct 2012
- Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in wlcms-plugin.php in the White Label CMS plugin 1.5 for WordPress allows remote authenticated administrators to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the wlcms_o_developer_name parameter in a save action to wp-admin/admin.php, a related issue to CVE-2012-5387. What to do if you run White Label CMS
If you run White Label CMS, open WordPress and check the installed version in Plugins. Compare it with the affected versions in the vulnerability record. If a fixed version is available, take a current backup and update to that version or the latest supported release.
If no fixed version exists, consider disabling and removing the plugin or replacing it with a maintained alternative. After dealing with the affected software, check administrator users, unexpected file changes, redirects, unfamiliar pages and security logs for signs that the site may already have been altered.
