- CVE-2026-18442, 18 Sep 2026
- The WCFM Marketplace - Multivendor Marketplace for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to generic SQL Injection via the 'wcfmmp_user_location_lng' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 3.8.2 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database. CVE record
- CVE-2026-77701, 28 Aug 2026
- The WCFM Marketplace WordPress plugin before 3.8.2 does not correctly verify that the person requesting a refund owns the order, allowing unauthenticated users to create refund requests against any guest checkout order on the site. CVE record
- CVE-2026-14196, 19 Aug 2026
- The WCFM Marketplace WordPress plugin before 3.8.1 does not verify that a marketplace vendor owns a review before allowing it to be unapproved or deleted, allowing any vendor to modify or permanently delete reviews belonging to other vendors' stores. CVE record
- CVE-2026-12126, 11 Jul 2026
- The WCFM Marketplace - Multivendor Marketplace for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via Attachment 'post_title' in all versions up to, and including, 3.7.3 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Vendor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. An attacker can plant the payload by uploading a media attachment with a crafted title via the WordPress REST API (/wp-json/wp/v2/media), without ever invoking the AJAX endpoint themselves, as the unescaped title is later emitted inside DataTables JSON and inserted as innerHTML upon any privileged user loading the media dashboard. CVE record
- CVE-2026-1722, 10 Feb 2026
- The WCFM Marketplace - Multivendor Marketplace for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Insecure Direct Object Reference in all versions up to, and including, 3.7.0. This is due to the plugin not implementing authorization checks in the `wcfm-refund-requests-form` AJAX controller. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to create arbitrary refund requests for any order ID and item ID, potentially leading to financial loss if automatic refund approval is enabled in the plugin settings. CVE record
- CVE-2023-4960, 11 Jan 2024
- The WCFM Marketplace plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via 'wcfm_stores' shortcode in versions up to, and including, 3.6.2 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user supplied attributes. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers with contributor-level and above permissions to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. CVE record
- CVE-2022-4935, 5 Apr 2023
- The WCFM Marketplace plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized modification and access of data in versions up to, and including, 3.4.11 due to missing capability checks on various AJAX actions. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with minimal permissions such as subscribers, to perform a wide variety of actions such as modifying shipping method details, modifying products, deleting arbitrary posts, and privilege escalation (via the wp_ajax_wcfm_vendor_store_online AJAX action). CVE record
- CVE-2022-4936, 5 Apr 2023
- The WCFM Marketplace plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery in versions up to, and including, 3.4.11 due to missing nonce checks on various AJAX actions. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to perform a wide variety of actions such as modifying shipping method details, modifying products, deleting arbitrary posts, and more, via a forged request granted they can trick a site's administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link. What to do if you run WCFM Marketplace
If you run WCFM Marketplace, open WordPress and check the installed version in Plugins. Compare it with the affected versions in the vulnerability record. If a fixed version is available, take a current backup and update to that version or the latest supported release.
If no fixed version exists, consider disabling and removing the plugin or replacing it with a maintained alternative. After dealing with the affected software, check administrator users, unexpected file changes, redirects, unfamiliar pages and security logs for signs that the site may already have been altered.
