- CVE-2026-86784, 16 Sep 2026
- The Visualizer WordPress plugin before 4.0.8 does not sanitise and escape a chart's JSON data source configuration before outputting it back in the chart editor, allowing users with the Contributor role and above to store JavaScript that executes in the browser of any higher-privileged user, such as an administrator, who reviews the affected chart. CVE record
- CVE-2026-86779, 11 Sep 2026
- The Visualizer WordPress plugin before 4.0.6 does not properly authorise chart-deletion requests, performing only a site-wide capability check with no per-object ownership verification, allowing users with the Contributor role and above to permanently delete any chart on the site, including charts created by other users such as administrators. CVE record
- CVE-2026-86782, 11 Sep 2026
- The Visualizer WordPress plugin before 4.0.6 does not properly authorise access to its chart-building actions, allowing users with the Contributor role and above to publish, rename, and overwrite the content of posts and pages they do not own, including other users' private drafts. CVE record
- CVE-2026-19726, 16 Aug 2026
- The Visualizer WordPress plugin before 4.0.7 does not properly authorise access to the configuration of its charts, allowing users with the Contributor role and above to read the full configuration of any chart on the site, including charts the Visualizer WordPress plugin before 4.0.7's own interface denies them, and to retrieve every chart's configuration in a single request. The disclosed configuration can include the credentials of a remote data source a chart reads from. CVE record
- CVE-2026-14939, 4 Aug 2026
- The Visualizer WordPress plugin before 4.0.6 does not restrict a user-supplied URL to safe address ranges before fetching it server-side, allowing users with Contributor-level access and above to perform Server-Side Request Forgery against link-local instance-metadata endpoints. As the fetched response is returned in the reply, the attack is non-blind, enabling retrieval of cloud instance metadata (including IAM credentials) on cloud-hosted sites. CVE record
- CVE-2026-15653, 24 Jul 2026
- The Visualizer - Tables & Charts Manager with Built-in AI Generator plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'backend-title' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 4.0.5 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. CVE record
- CVE-2026-13468, 1 Jul 2026
- The Visualizer - Tables & Charts Manager with Built-in AI Generator plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass in all versions up to, and including, 4.0.3. This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to access and export the contents of any visualizer chart on the site - including charts in draft, private, pending, future, or trash status - as CSV, Excel, or HTML via the /wp-json/visualizer/v1/action/{chart}/{type}/ REST endpoint. This bypass is particularly impactful because the standard WordPress REST endpoint for the non-public 'visualizer' custom post type correctly enforces capability checks and returns HTTP 401 to unauthenticated callers, whereas this plugin-registered route circumvents that protection entirely. CVE record
- CVE-2026-8689, 28 May 2026
- The Visualizer: Tables and Charts Manager for WordPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Missing Authorization in all versions up to, and including, 3.11.14. This is due to a missing capability check on the renderChartPages() and uploadData() functions, where the wp_ajax_visualizer-create-chart and wp_ajax_visualizer-edit-chart AJAX actions invoke renderChartPages() without any current_user_can() check, and wp_ajax_visualizer-upload-data invokes uploadData() which also lacks a capability check and validates its nonce without an action argument, making it trivially bypassable. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to create arbitrary chart posts and access or modify chart data belonging to other users, including administrators. CVE record
- CVE-2025-12483, 2 Dec 2025
- The Visualizer: Tables and Charts Manager for WordPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to SQL Injection via the 'query' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 3.11.12 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database. Version 3.11.13 raises the minimum user-level for exploitation to administrator. 3.11.14 fully patches the vulnerability. CVE record
- CVE-2025-1065, 19 Feb 2025
- The Visualizer: Tables and Charts Manager for WordPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the plugin's Import Data From File feature in all versions up to, and including, 3.11.8 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user supplied attributes. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. CVE record
- CVE-2024-3750, 16 May 2024
- The Visualizer: Tables and Charts Manager for WordPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized modification and retrieval of data due to a missing capability check on the getQueryData() function in all versions up to, and including, 3.10.15. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to perform arbitrary SQL queries that can be leveraged for privilege escalation among many other actions. CVE record
- CVE-2023-23708, 3 May 2023
- Auth. (contributor+) Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability in Themeisle Visualizer: Tables and Charts Manager for WordPress plugin <= 3.9.4 versions. CVE record
- CVE-2022-46848, 28 Mar 2023
- Auth. (contributor+) Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability in Themeisle Visualizer: Tables and Charts Manager for WordPress plugin <= 3.9.1 versions. CVE record
- CVE-2022-2444, 18 Jul 2022
- The Visualizer: Tables and Charts Manager for WordPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to deserialization of untrusted input via the 'remote_data' parameter in versions up to, and including 3.7.9. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers with contributor privileges and above to call files using a PHAR wrapper that will deserialize the data and call arbitrary PHP Objects that can be used to perform a variety of malicious actions granted a POP chain is also present. It also requires that the attacker is successful in uploading a file with the serialized payload. CVE record
- CVE-2019-16931, 3 Oct 2019
- A stored XSS vulnerability in the Visualizer plugin 3.3.0 for WordPress allows an unauthenticated attacker to execute arbitrary JavaScript when an admin or other privileged user edits the chart via the admin dashboard. This occurs because classes/Visualizer/Gutenberg/Block.php registers wp-json/visualizer/v1/update-chart with no access control, and classes/Visualizer/Render/Page/Data.php lacks output sanitization. CVE record
- CVE-2019-16932, 30 Sep 2019
- A blind SSRF vulnerability exists in the Visualizer plugin before 3.3.1 for WordPress via wp-json/visualizer/v1/upload-data. CVE record
What to do if you run Visualizer
If you run Visualizer, open WordPress and check the installed version in Plugins. Compare it with the affected versions in the vulnerability record. If a fixed version is available, take a current backup and update to that version or the latest supported release.
If no fixed version exists, consider disabling and removing the plugin or replacing it with a maintained alternative. After dealing with the affected software, check administrator users, unexpected file changes, redirects, unfamiliar pages and security logs for signs that the site may already have been altered.
