CVE-2026-16302, 24 Sep 2026
The Spectra Legacy - Gutenberg Blocks plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 2.20.0 via the editor_assets function, which exposes the uag_insta_linked_accounts option through the uagb_blocks_info object without a capability check. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to extract sensitive data including raw Instagram Graph API access tokens configured by an administrator. Exploitation requires the Spectra Pro plugin to be active with a linked Instagram account. CVE record
CVE-2026-10827, 1 Aug 2026
The Spectra Legacy WordPress plugin before 2.20.0 does not validate or escape several block style attributes before using them to build the CSS it outputs on the front end, allowing users with the Contributor role and above to inject arbitrary CSS into the pages that render the affected block. The injected styles are served to anonymous visitors of those pages and can force external resource loads, deface/redress the page, or exfiltrate data via CSS attribute selectors. JavaScript execution is not possible at this role (the script-tag breakout is removed by KSES), so the impact is limited to CSS injection. CVE record
CVE-2026-12900, 20 Jul 2026
The Spectra Gutenberg Blocks - Website Builder for the Block Editor plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the `uagb/image` block in all versions up to, and including, 2.19.28 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. CVE record
CVE-2026-7465, 30 May 2026
The Spectra Gutenberg Blocks - Website Builder for the Block Editor plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Remote Code Execution in all versions up to, and including, 2.19.25. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to execute code on the server. Exploitation requires a two-block payload embedded in post content: the first block registers a fake uagb/-prefixed block type with an attacker-specified render_callback, and the second block of the same fake type triggers invocation of that callback via call_user_func() during sequential block rendering in the same page request. CVE record
CVE-2026-0950, 3 Feb 2026
The Spectra Gutenberg Blocks - Website Builder for the Block Editor plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Information Disclosure in all versions up to, and including, 2.19.17. This is due to the plugin failing to check `post_password_required()` before rendering post excerpts in the `render_excerpt()` function and the `uagb_get_excerpt()` helper function. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to read excerpts of password-protected posts by simply viewing any page that contains a Spectra Post Grid, Post Masonry, Post Carousel, or Post Timeline block. CVE record
CVE-2025-11162, 5 Nov 2025
The Spectra Gutenberg Blocks - Website Builder for the Block Editor plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the Custom CSS in all versions up to, and including, 2.19.14 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. CVE record
CVE-2025-1784, 26 Mar 2025
The Spectra - WordPress Gutenberg Blocks plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the uagb block in all versions up to, and including, 2.19.0 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. CVE record
CVE-2024-10484, 3 Dec 2024
The Spectra - WordPress Gutenberg Blocks plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the plugin's 'Team' widget in all versions up to, and including, 2.16.2 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user supplied attributes. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. CVE record
CVE-2024-1814, 23 May 2024
The Spectra - WordPress Gutenberg Blocks plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the plugin's Testimonial block in all versions up to, and including, 2.12.8 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user supplied attributes. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. CVE record
CVE-2024-1815, 23 May 2024
The Spectra - WordPress Gutenberg Blocks plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the plugin's Image Gallery block in all versions up to, and including, 2.12.8 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user supplied attributes. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. CVE record
CVE-2024-3107, 2 May 2024
The Spectra - WordPress Gutenberg Blocks plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Path Traversal in versions up to, and including, 2.12.6 via the get_block_default_attributes function. This allows authenticated attackers, with contributor-level permissions and above, to read the contents of any files named attributes.php on the server, which can contain sensitive information. What to do if you run Spectra Legacy

If you run Spectra Legacy, open WordPress and check the installed version in Plugins. Compare it with the affected versions in the vulnerability record. If a fixed version is available, take a current backup and update to that version or the latest supported release.

If no fixed version exists, consider disabling and removing the plugin or replacing it with a maintained alternative. After dealing with the affected software, check administrator users, unexpected file changes, redirects, unfamiliar pages and security logs for signs that the site may already have been altered.
