CVE-2026-11871, 26 Sep 2026
The Team Members WordPress plugin before 9.3 does not perform any authorization or visibility check in an unauthenticated AJAX action that returns full team member records by ID, allowing unauthenticated attackers to enumerate and disclose details, including email addresses and phone numbers, of team members the administrator has not published publicly. CVE record
CVE-2026-12114, 30 Jun 2026
The Team Members - Multi Language Supported Team Plugin plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via admin settings in all versions up to, and including, 8.7 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with administrator-level permissions and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This only affects multi-site installations and installations where unfiltered_html has been disabled. CVE record
CVE-2024-1331, 18 Mar 2024
The Team Members WordPress plugin before 5.3.2 does not validate and escape some of its shortcode attributes before outputting them back in a page/post where the shortcode is embed, which could allow users with the author role and above to perform Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks. CVE record
CVE-2022-3936, 2 Jan 2023
The Team Members WordPress plugin before 5.2.1 does not sanitize and escapes some of its settings, which could allow high-privilege users such as editors to perform Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks even when the unfiltered_html capability is disallowed (for example, in a multisite setup). CVE record
CVE-2022-1568, 30 May 2022
The Team Members WordPress plugin before 5.1.1 does not escape some of its Team settings, which could allow high privilege users such as admin to perform Cross-Site Scripting attacks even when unfiltered_html is disallowed CVE record

What to do if you run Team Members

If you run Team Members, open WordPress and check the installed version in Plugins. Compare it with the affected versions in the vulnerability record. If a fixed version is available, take a current backup and update to that version or the latest supported release.

If no fixed version exists, consider disabling and removing the plugin or replacing it with a maintained alternative. After dealing with the affected software, check administrator users, unexpected file changes, redirects, unfamiliar pages and security logs for signs that the site may already have been altered.
