- CVE-2026-18406, 5 Sep 2026
- The SureForms - Contact Form Builder, AI Forms, Payment Form, Survey & Quiz plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via Text Field Entity-Encoded Payload in all versions up to, and including, 2.12.2 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. CVE record
- CVE-2026-7623, 1 Aug 2026
- The SureForms - Contact Form, Payment Form & Other Custom Form Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'headingWrapper' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 2.8.1 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. CVE record
- CVE-2026-11567, 14 Jul 2026
- The SureForms WordPress plugin before 2.11.1 does not properly validate the payment amount on forms that use a dynamically-sourced (variable/hidden) payment amount, allowing unauthenticated users to underpay for the configured product or subscription. Forms using a fixed configured price are not affected. CVE record
- CVE-2026-15288, 10 Jul 2026
- The SureForms - Drag and Drop Form Builder for WordPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Improper Input Validation in all versions up to, and including, 2.2.1. This is due to the plugin accepting the payment amount directly from user-controlled POST data in the 'create_payment_intent' and 'create_subscription_intent' functions without validating it against the form's configured price. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to modify the payment amount to any arbitrary value when submitting a Stripe payment form, potentially purchasing products or services at significantly reduced prices. CVE record
- CVE-2026-4987, 28 Mar 2026
- The SureForms - Contact Form, Payment Form & Other Custom Form Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Payment Amount Bypass in all versions up to, and including, 2.5.2. This is due to the create_payment_intent() function performing a payment validation solely based on the value of a user-controlled parameter. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to bypass configured form payment-amount validation and create underpriced payment/subscription intents by setting form_id to 0. CVE record
- CVE-2025-14855, 21 Dec 2025
- The SureForms plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the form field parameters in all versions up to, and including, 2.2.0 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. CVE record
- CVE-2025-12535, 19 Nov 2025
- The SureForms plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery Bypass in all versions up to, and including, 1.13.1. This is due to the plugin distributing generic WordPress REST API nonces (wp_rest) to unauthenticated users via the 'wp_ajax_nopriv_rest-nonce' action. While the plugin legitimately needs to support unauthenticated form submissions, it incorrectly uses generic REST nonces instead of form-specific nonces. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to bypass CSRF protection on REST API endpoints that rely solely on nonce verification without additional authentication checks, allowing them to trigger unauthorized actions such as the plugin's own post-submission hooks and potentially other plugins' REST endpoints. CVE record
- CVE-2025-12536, 13 Nov 2025
- The SureForms plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 1.13.1 via the '_srfm_email_notification' post meta registration. This is due to setting the 'auth_callback' parameter to '__return_true', which allows unauthenticated access to the metadata. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to extract sensitive data including email notification configurations, which frequently contain vendor-provided CRM/help desk dropbox addresses, CC/BCC recipients, and notification templates that can be abused to inject malicious data into downstream systems. CVE record
- CVE-2025-10732, 14 Oct 2025
- The SureForms - Drag and Drop Form Builder for WordPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Disclosure in all versions up to, and including, 1.12.1. This is due to improper access control implementation on the '/wp-json/sureforms/v1/srfm-global-settings' REST API endpoint. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to retrieve sensitive information including API keys for Google reCAPTCHA, Cloudflare Turnstile, hCaptcha, admin email addresses, and security-related form settings. CVE record
- CVE-2025-8282, 23 Sep 2025
- The SureForms WordPress plugin before 1.9.1 does not sanitise and escape some parameters when outputing them in the page, which could allow admin and above users to perform Cross-Site Scripting attacks. CVE record
- CVE-2025-10489, 20 Sep 2025
- The SureForms - Drag and Drop Contact Form Builder - Multi-step Forms, Conversational Forms and more plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized creation of forms due to a missing capability check on the register_post_types() function in all versions up to, and including, 1.12.0. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to create forms when the user interface specifically prohibits it. CVE record
- CVE-2025-5921, 1 Aug 2025
- The SureForms WordPress plugin before 1.7.2 does not sanitise and escape a parameter before outputting it back in the page, leading to a Reflected Cross-Site Scripting which could be used against both authenticated and unauthenticated users. CVE record
- CVE-2025-6742, 9 Jul 2025
- The SureForms - Drag and Drop Form Builder for WordPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to PHP Object Injection in all versions up to, and including, 1.7.3 via the use of file_exists() in the delete_entry_files() function without restriction on the path provided. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject a PHP Object. No known POP chain is present in the vulnerable software, which means this vulnerability has no impact unless another plugin or theme containing a POP chain is installed on the site. If a POP chain is present via an additional plugin or theme installed on the target system, it may allow the attacker to perform actions like delete arbitrary files, retrieve sensitive data, or execute code depending on the POP chain present. CVE record
- CVE-2025-6691, 9 Jul 2025
- The SureForms - Drag and Drop Form Builder for WordPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file deletion due to insufficient file path validation in the delete_entry_files() function in all versions up to, and including, 1.7.3. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to delete arbitrary files on the server, which can easily lead to remote code execution when the right file is deleted (such as wp-config.php). CVE record
- CVE-2025-3513, 2 May 2025
- The SureForms WordPress plugin before 1.4.4 does not sanitise and escape some of its Form settings, which could allow high privilege users such as admin to perform Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks even when the unfiltered_html capability is disallowed (for example in multisite setup). CVE record
- CVE-2025-3514, 2 May 2025
- The SureForms WordPress plugin before 1.4.4 does not sanitise and escape some of its Form settings, which could allow high privilege users such as admin to perform Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks even when the unfiltered_html capability is disallowed (for example in multisite setup). CVE record
- CVE-2025-3471, 30 Apr 2025
- The SureForms WordPress plugin before 1.4.4 does not have proper authorisation check when updating its settings via the REST API, which could allow Contributor and above roles to perform such action CVE record
- CVE-2024-12713, 8 Jan 2025
- The SureForms - Drag and Drop Form Builder for WordPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 1.2.2 via the handle_export_form() function due to a missing capability check. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to export data from password protected, private, or draft posts that they should not have access to. CVE record
What to do if you run SureForms
If you run SureForms, open WordPress and check the installed version in Plugins. Compare it with the affected versions in the vulnerability record. If a fixed version is available, take a current backup and update to that version or the latest supported release.
If no fixed version exists, consider disabling and removing the plugin or replacing it with a maintained alternative. After dealing with the affected software, check administrator users, unexpected file changes, redirects, unfamiliar pages and security logs for signs that the site may already have been altered.
