- CVE-2026-16144, 1 Aug 2026
- The Kali Forms - Contact Form & Drag-and-Drop Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Remote Code Execution in all versions up to, and including, 2.4.20 via the _save_data function. This is due to insufficient validation of the 'thisPermalink' field value before it overwrites a trusted callable placeholder, allowing attacker-controlled strings to reach call_user_func() in _save_data(). This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to execute code on the server. Exploitation requires the target form to define a field with a name matching one of the reserved placeholder keys ('thisPermalink', 'entryCounter', or 'submission_link'), as check_if_placeholders_changed() only processes POST keys present in the form's field_type_map. CVE record
- CVE-2026-15395, 17 Jul 2026
- The Kali Forms - Contact Form & Drag-and-Drop Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via 'digitalSignature' Field Value in all versions up to, and including, 2.4.18 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The required form-submission nonce is publicly available on any page containing the form shortcode, making this exploitable by fully unauthenticated attackers without any precondition beyond the form being published. CVE record
- CVE-2026-11580, 15 Jul 2026
- The Kali Forms - Contact Form & Drag-and-Drop Builder WordPress plugin before 2.4.17 does not perform a per-object capability check in its post-duplication AJAX action, allowing users with Contributor-level access or above to duplicate any post (regardless of owner, post type, or status) into a published post they own and read its private post metadata, including secrets stored by other Kali Forms - Contact Form & Drag-and-Drop Builder WordPress plugin before 2.4.17. CVE record
- CVE-2026-11579, 15 Jul 2026
- The Kali Forms - Contact Form & Drag-and-Drop Builder WordPress plugin before 2.4.17 does not verify that a file upload is made against an existing form configured with a file-upload field, accepting uploads regardless of whether any such form exists, which allows unauthenticated users to upload files to the WordPress Media Library; the uploads are limited to WordPress's default-allowed MIME types, so this does not lead to code execution. CVE record
- CVE-2026-9107, 1 Jul 2026
- The Kali Forms - Contact Form & Drag-and-Drop Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'meta[kaliforms_field_components]' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 2.4.13 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. CVE record
- CVE-2026-11581, 30 Jun 2026
- The Kali Forms - Contact Form & Drag-and-Drop Builder WordPress plugin before 2.4.13 does not sanitise a form field's caption before outputting it as a column header on the administrator form-entries screen, allowing users with Contributor-level access or above to store JavaScript that executes in an administrator's session. A missing capability check in the Kali Forms - Contact Form & Drag-and-Drop Builder WordPress plugin before 2.4.13's post-duplication action additionally lets the Contributor publish the malicious form so an administrator renders it. CVE record
- CVE-2026-3584, 20 Mar 2026
- The Kali Forms plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Remote Code Execution in all versions up to, and including, 2.4.9 via the 'form_process' function. This is due to the 'prepare_post_data' function mapping user-supplied keys directly into internal placeholder storage, combined with the use of 'call_user_func' on these placeholder values. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to execute code on the server. CVE record
- CVE-2026-1860, 18 Feb 2026
- The Kali Forms plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Insecure Direct Object Reference in all versions up to, and including, 2.4.8. This is due to the `get_items_permissions_check()` permission callback on the `/kaliforms/v1/forms/{id}` REST API endpoint only checking for the `edit_posts` capability without verifying that the requesting user has ownership or authorization over the specific form resource. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to read form configuration data belonging to other users (including administrators) by enumerating form IDs. Exposed data includes form field structures, Google reCAPTCHA secret keys (if configured), email notification templates, and server paths. CVE record
- CVE-2025-3201, 16 May 2025
- The Contact Form builder with drag & drop for WordPress WordPress plugin before 2.4.3 does not sanitise and escape some of its settings, which could allow high privilege users such as contributors to perform Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks. CVE record
- CVE-2024-1218, 29 Feb 2024
- The Contact Form builder with drag & drop for WordPress - Kali Forms plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized access and modification of data via API due to an inconsistent capability check on several REST endpoints in all versions up to, and including, 2.3.41. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor access and higher, to obtain access to or modify forms or entries. CVE record
- CVE-2024-1217, 29 Feb 2024
- The Contact Form builder with drag & drop for WordPress - Kali Forms plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized plugin deactivation due to a missing capability check on the await_plugin_deactivation function in all versions up to, and including, 2.3.41. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber access or higher, to deactivate any active plugins. CVE record
- CVE-2024-22305, 31 Jan 2024

- CVE-2020-36717, 7 Jun 2023
- The Kali Forms plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery in versions up to, and including, 2.1.1. This is due to incorrect nonce handling throughout the plugin's function. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to access the plugin's administrative functions via forged request granted they can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link. CVE record
- CVE-2020-36720, 7 Jun 2023
- The Kali Forms plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Authenticated Options Change in versions up to, and including, 2.1.1. This is due to the update_option lacking proper authentication checks. This makes it possible for any authenticated attacker to change (or delete) the plugin's settings. CVE record
- CVE-2020-36712, 7 Jun 2023
- The Kali Forms plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Unauthenticated Arbitrary Post Deletion in versions up to, and including, 2.1.1. What to do if you run Kali Forms
If you run Kali Forms, open WordPress and check the installed version in Plugins. Compare it with the affected versions in the vulnerability record. If a fixed version is available, take a current backup and update to that version or the latest supported release.
If no fixed version exists, consider disabling and removing the plugin or replacing it with a maintained alternative. After dealing with the affected software, check administrator users, unexpected file changes, redirects, unfamiliar pages and security logs for signs that the site may already have been altered.
