- CVE-2026-11995, 1 Aug 2026
- The Gutena Forms - Contact Form, Survey Form, Feedback Form, Booking Form, and Custom Form Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass in all versions up to, and including, 1.9.0. This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to modify the read/unread status of or permanently trash arbitrary form submission entries belonging to any form. The nonce issued by check_ajax_referer() does not function as an authorization barrier because the nonce action 'gutena_Forms' is emitted to unauthenticated visitors via wp_localize_script() on any public page that contains a Gutena Forms block, making it freely obtainable by anonymous attackers. CVE record
- CVE-2026-1753, 11 Mar 2026
- The Gutena Forms WordPress plugin before 1.6.1 does not validate option to be updated, which could allow contributors and above role to update arbitrary boolean and array options (such as users_can_register). CVE record
- CVE-2026-1674, 4 Mar 2026
- The Gutena Forms - Contact Form, Survey Form, Feedback Form, Booking Form, and Custom Form Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized modification of data due to missing authorization within the save_gutena_forms_schema() function in all versions up to, and including, 1.6.0. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to update option values to a structured array value on the WordPress site. This can be leveraged to update an option that would create an error on the site and deny service to legitimate users or be used to set some values, that would, for example enable site user registration when it is explicitly disabled. What to do if you run Gutena Forms
If you run Gutena Forms, open WordPress and check the installed version in Plugins. Compare it with the affected versions in the vulnerability record. If a fixed version is available, take a current backup and update to that version or the latest supported release.
If no fixed version exists, consider disabling and removing the plugin or replacing it with a maintained alternative. After dealing with the affected software, check administrator users, unexpected file changes, redirects, unfamiliar pages and security logs for signs that the site may already have been altered.
