- CVE-2026-96256, 1 Oct 2026
- The Gutenberg Essential Blocks - Page Builder for Gutenberg Blocks & Patterns plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the Google Map block's 'marker' attribute in versions up to, and including, 6.4.5 This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on marker title/content values, which are stored as JSON and then decoded and concatenated directly into raw HTML by the frontend script's InfoWindow content builder. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. CVE record
- CVE-2026-13153, 6 Aug 2026
- The Gutenberg Essential Blocks WordPress plugin before 6.4.0 does not restrict access to one of its public REST routes and over-fetches a non-public WooCommerce per-product sales metric into the response, allowing unauthenticated users to read the lifetime number of units sold for any published product. CVE record
- CVE-2026-13154, 6 Aug 2026
- The Gutenberg Essential Blocks WordPress plugin before 6.4.0 does not verify that an attacker-supplied post type is publicly viewable before querying it in one of its public REST routes, allowing unauthenticated users to read published entries of custom post types that the site registered as non-public. CVE record

CVE record
- CVE-2026-4658, 2 May 2026
- The Essential Blocks - Page Builder Gutenberg Blocks, Patterns & Templates plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the className, classHook, and blockId attributes in the Add to Cart block (essential-blocks/add-to-cart) in all versions up to, and including, 6.0.4. This is due to insufficient output escaping in the render_callback() function where these attributes are placed into class and data-id HTML attributes using raw sprintf() and implode() without esc_attr() escaping. While the outer wrapper div uses get_block_wrapper_attributes() which properly escapes, the inner divs do not. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. CVE record
