CVE-2024-3495, 22 May 2024
The Country State City Dropdown CF7 plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to SQL Injection via the ‘cnt’ and 'sid' parameters in versions up to, and including, 2.7.2 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database. CVE record
CVE-2024-3520, 2 May 2024
The Country State City Dropdown CF7 plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized modification of data due to a missing capability check on the tc_csca_patch_settings function in all versions up to, and including, 2.7.1. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber access and above, to add states or cities to the dropdown. CVE record
