CVE-2026-76057, 22 Aug 2026
The AutomatorWP - Automator plugin for no-code automations, webhooks & custom integrations in WordPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass in all versions up to, and including, 5.8.4. This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to retrieve all ConvertKit form data configured by the site's manager account, exposing integration details intended to be restricted to plugin managers. The required nonce is localized on every admin page load, making it accessible to any authenticated user who can reach /wp-admin. CVE record
CVE-2026-76074, 22 Aug 2026
The AutomatorWP - Automator plugin for no-code automations, webhooks & custom integrations in WordPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass in all versions up to, and including, 5.8.4. This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to retrieve the site's configured Campaign Monitor mailing list catalog, including all list IDs and names, that should be restricted to users with the plugin's manager capability. The required nonce is emitted unconditionally on every WordPress admin page via wp_localize_script, meaning any subscriber visiting /wp-admin/profile.php can obtain it without any elevated access. CVE record
CVE-2025-9539, 9 Sep 2025
The AutomatorWP - Automator plugin for no-code automations, webhooks & custom integrations in WordPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized modification of data due to a missing capability check on the automatorwp_ajax_import_automation_from_url function in all versions up to, and including, 5.3.6. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to create arbitrary automations, which can lead to Remote Code Execution or Privilege escalation once such automation is activated by the administrator CVE record
CVE-2025-5487, 14 Jun 2025
The AutomatorWP - Automator plugin for no-code automations, webhooks & custom integrations in WordPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to time-based SQL Injection via the field_conditions parameter in all versions up to, and including, 5.2.3 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Administrator-level access and above, to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database. Administrators can configure the plugin to allow access to this functionality to authors and higher. CVE record
CVE-2024-12626, 19 Dec 2024
The AutomatorWP - Automator plugin for no-code automations, webhooks & custom integrations in WordPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting via the ‘a-0-o-search_field_value’ parameter in all versions up to, and including, 5.0.9 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a link. When used in conjunction with the plugin's import and code action feature, this vulnerability can be leveraged to execute arbitrary code. CVE record
CVE-2021-24717, 1 Nov 2021
The AutomatorWP WordPress plugin before 1.7.6 does not perform capability checks which allows users with Subscriber roles to enumerate automations, disclose title of private posts or user emails, call functions, or perform privilege escalation via Ajax actions. CVE record

What to do if you run AutomatorWP

If you run AutomatorWP, open WordPress and check the installed version in Plugins. Compare it with the affected versions in the vulnerability record. If a fixed version is available, take a current backup and update to that version or the latest supported release.

If no fixed version exists, consider disabling and removing the plugin or replacing it with a maintained alternative. After dealing with the affected software, check administrator users, unexpected file changes, redirects, unfamiliar pages and security logs for signs that the site may already have been altered.
